computer genius

I know I haven't been blogging for the past couple of weeks.
The reason is simple.
I was totally pissed off. With what?
My laptop threatened to die on me whilst in a foreign land.

Picture this.... Imagine the frustrations I had to endure..

• It takes 30 mins for my laptop to start up
• Another 10 mins to open a internet browser or Microsoft Office
• Another 3 mins to load subsequent tabs or window when using the internet
• I can't run more than 1 application at any moment (e.g internet and media player)
• I can't install/remove programmes
• My MSN could not be activated (explains why I was using e-buddy)
• My Skype could not be activated (I couldn't call home)
• In a nutshell, I was cut out from the outside world for pretty much of the time
• I spent 75% of my time waiting for things to load while the laptop threatened to hang
• Finally, it takes another 7 mins for it to shut down

I finally managed to resolve it. A million thanks to jw.
I gave my laptop a new lease of life through the only method I came to know about.
R-E-F-O-R-M-A-T.
Yes, I reformatted my laptop.
After 2.5 months of immense fear that my laptop will die on me, I'm finally happy now.
